Waldwick October 10, 2012 THE VILLADOM TIMES III • Page 23 Ducky Derby/Fun Family Day a huge success It was a day chock full of activities, and Waldwick residents responded by turning out in droves, despite sometimes threatening skies, to celebrate the Lions Club’s Ducky Derby/Fun Family Day. Town organizations and businesses responded as well, setting up booths and handing out information and giveaways. The music blared, and the Lions launched 1,000 ducks into the brook, a most successful fundraiser. The weather held, and the few scattered drops did not dampen the spirits.
