The charity race, named in memory of beloved Upper Saddle River resident and coach Dick Meighan, is both a competitive road race and fundraiser for local and national organizations, including D.A.R.E., the USR Rescue Squad, the USR Ambulance Corps, the USR Fire Department, USR Youth Triathlon, Saddle River Service Corps, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of America, USR Education Foundation, Shelter Our Sisters, Jeremy’s Heroes, The Rose Foundation of Haiti, and the Extra Mile Scholarship Fund.
