Letters to the Editor
(continued from page 18) The DPW workers have worked tirelessly to make our streets passable and safe, and we cannot thank them enough for their long efforts in the cold, wet weather. The police department, ambulance corps, and volunteer fire department have all done exemplary work in restoring calm and peace to our beautiful little town. The Ho-Ho-Kus Public School assembled a hastily prepared Halloween celebration for the children that put smiles on all of their faces, as well as their parents’. Kudos to all involved, including the parents who decorated their cars and distributed candy to the giddy children. Finally, they had something to smile and laugh about. Many parents expressed their desire to make this a new tradition in our town! Our town recently received the “Number 1+ rating!” Thank you to each and every volunteer who has helped -- and is continuing to help -- put our town back together. Nancy and Kevin Pianfetti Ho-Ho-Kus
