The local community is being asked to attend Ramp It Up, a benefit concert for Brennan Macleod, a seven-yearold Waldwick boy with cerebral palsy. Macleod now has a temporary ramp, and will soon have a more permanent ramp structure thanks to the many generous donations of the community and the Waldwick Lion’s Club Ramp Fund. However, he has begun to outgrow his current adaptive chair, which allows him to sit with his family during meals and play time, and his family is attempting to make a down payment on a handicappedaccessible van. Ramp It Up will help raise funds for both of these projects. The Dec. 1 concert will be held at Saint Luke’s Church

in Ho-Ho-Kus and will star Three Pints Shy, an Irish pub band that performs traditional Irish drinking songs with a driving modern rhythm. Macleod’s father, Chant, is a member of the band. Attendees will enjoy an evening of music and fun. The event will include a special fundraiser with prizes and a dance or two by local Irish dancers. The event will start at 7 p.m. and is BYOE: Bring Your Own Everything! Guests are encouraged to bring their own food and beverages. All of the proceeds from this event will go to help Brennan. Tickets are available for $20 for adults and $10 for children under 12 and can be purchased by calling Karen at (201) 444-6855. Checks can be made out to Ramp It Up,
