Larry Rauch, a member of the Upper Saddle River Fire Department since 1970, has received the John R. Rinaldi Special Recognition Award from the 200 Club of Bergen County. This award was presented May 9 at a luncheon held at the Glenpointe in Teaneck and recognizes outstanding service and dedication to an individual or group. Rauch was nominated by the Bergen County Fire Chiefs Association. “Beyond his commitment to the Upper Saddle River Fire
Department, he has continued his service to firefighting by working with numerous groups and associations,” Upper Saddle River Mayor Joanne Minichetti said of Rauch. “He is well known throughout Bergen County and the state as he is coordinator of all fire safety programs at the Bergen County Law & Public Safety Institute.
