Waldwick
Dramatic paintings of sunrises and sunsets by Bob Rizzotti are on display at the Waldwick Public Library, where they will remain through Saturday, June 30. Inspired by the artist’s travels, the eight pieces featured in the exhibit were painted in a variety of ways: some from photographs, others en plein air, and a few from his imagination. Settings for some of the paintings in the “Sunrises and Sunsets” collection include Beck Lake in New Hampshire, the Maui Volcano, the Columbia River Gorge in Oregon, Bar Harbor in Maine, and the Jersey Shore. Rizzotti, a resident of Waldwick for more than 39 years, has exhibited his art in many New Jersey and New York venues and donated a number of pieces to charity and to the Borough of Waldwick. Rizzotti is also an actor

The paintings in the exhibit are available for sale. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the library. A price list and contact information for the artist are available at the library’s circulation desk. The library is located at 19 East Prospect Street in Waldwick and is open Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, call (201) 652-5104.
