She attended Passaic Collegiate School and graduated from Rutherford High School and Fairleigh Dickinson. She was a member of Ridgewood Country Club for more than 50 years. She was a tennis player and competed at Ridgewood Country Club, Upper Ridgewood Tennis Club, and the Brant Beach Yacht Club. She sang with The Ridgewood Choral, The Belles, and Pro Arte Chorale. She is survived by her husband Daniel A. Beyer, her children Bruce Beyer of Cape Coral, Florida, Constance Beyer of McLean, Virginia, and Martha Lovett of Wyckoff, four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and her brother Robert Metz of Raymond, Maine. She was 78. She was a registered nurse at Bergen Pines Hospital, where she trained nurses. She was a volunteer with OASIS: A Haven for Women & Children in Paterson. She is survived by her children Michael Connolly of Wayne, John Connolly of Warwick, New York, Maureen Barrett of Medfield, Massachusetts, Myles Connolly of San Diego, California, and Aileen Almassy of Atlanta, Georgia, and 14 grandchildren. Hauser of Randolph, Vermont, formerly of HoHo-Kus and Avon, Connecticut, died March 8. He was 91. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII. He earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees at Stevens Institute of Technology in mechanical engineering and enjoyed a long career in his field. He was a Little League baseball coach, and served as Scoutmaster for Troop 54 in Ho-Ho-Kus and for Troop 274 in Avon. He is survived by his sons John and Rick, and five grandchildren. Before retiring 1982, she was a sewing machine operator for Tedema Textiles of Fairview. She is survived by her children Gloria Freudenreich of Pompton Plains and Richard of Midland Park, and two grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Harry G. He was 86. He was a U.S. Navy Air Corps veteran of WWII. He was an automobile service manager at the Mahwah Ford and Woodbridge Ford dealerships for 40 years, and retired in 1991. He was active in the Cub Scouts and Little League in Waldwick, served as president of the North East Ford Dealer Service Organization, and was a member of the Ramsey Bowling League. He is survived by his wife Ruth R. Martin, his children Alan Martin of Hampton Township and Nancy White of Mahwah, two grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
