Area March 7, 2012 THE VILLADOM TIMES III • Page 17 Rotary International is seeking students, ages 15 to 19, from Allendale, Saddle River, and Upper Saddle River who are interested in the Student Youth Exchange Program. Exchanges are arranged between two families for three to six weeks in the summer, making the program an excellent choice for students who are interested in living abroad without disrupting their high school studies and graduation plans. “New Generation” exchanges, which are available to young people up to age 25, may Exchange students sought be arranged during the school year, including spring breaks and Christmas vacations. Children of Rotarians and non-Rotarians are eligible. Candidates should be of good character and well mannered, should be interested in life in other countries, and able to act as Rotary’s ambassadors abroad. Celebrating excellence Tuxedo Park School recently celebrated academic excellence with honor students including Saddle River’s Seiji Engelkemier and Francesco D’Iorio and Franklin Lakes’ Laura Yordan, Amaan Chaudhry, and Lindsay Romano. From Math Olympiads and the History Bowl to Lego Robotics, iPad app writing classes, and the annual freshman trip to China, Tuxedo Park School’s curriculum is as vigorous and diverse its student population which draws from two states and five counties. Its students are considered the school’s best ambassadors.
