Life-long North Jersey residents, the Yudins are proprietors of Yudin’s Appliances, a family business with stores in Wyckoff and Passaic. Robert Yudin is chairman of the Bergen County Republican Organization, a commissioner for the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority, and a trustee of the Jewish Federation of Northern New Jersey, and the Jewish Community Relations Council. During the Whitman administration, he was the executive director of the New Jersey-Israel Commission. He has been an active firefighter in Wyckoff for over 30 years, and served as chief of Sicomac Fire Company #3. He also served two terms as a member of the board of education. He is a graduate of Rut- gers University and is a U.S. Navy Vietnam-era veteran. Sue Yudin is the current president of Temple Emanuel. She is a member of the Wyckoff Zoning Board of Adjustment and a trustee of the Wyckoff Love Fund, a local charity that assists needy residents. She is a graduate of Douglass College.
