Robert and Susan Yudin honored by Temple Emanuel

Life-long North Jersey residents, the Yudins are proprietors of Yudin’s Appliances, a family business with stores in Wyckoff and Passaic. Robert Yudin is chairman of the Bergen County Republican Organization, a commissioner for the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority, and a trustee of the Jewish Federation of Northern New Jersey, and the Jewish Community Relations Council. During the Whitman administration, he was the executive director of the New Jersey-Israel Commission. He has been an active firefighter in Wyckoff for over 30 years, and served as chief of Sicomac Fire Company #3. He also served two terms as a member of the board of education. He is a graduate of Rut-
gers University and is a U.S. Navy Vietnam-era veteran. Sue Yudin is the current president of Temple Emanuel. She is a member of the Wyckoff Zoning Board of Adjustment and a trustee of the Wyckoff Love Fund, a local charity that assists needy residents. She is a graduate of Douglass College. The Friends of the Wyckoff Public Library will accept donations of used books for a two-week period beginning June 15 . Books should be in good condition. No textbooks or outdated reference books can be accepted. Donations may be brought to the lower level lobby of the library at 200 Woodland Avenue. The Friends Book Sale will begin with a Beach Book Specials sale on July 2.
