The Third Annual Wyckoff Day will be held Saturday, June 9 from noon to 6 p.m. at the Wyckoff Family YMCA, 691 Wyckoff Avenue in Wyckoff. This fun-filled community event features live music and entertainment, a variety of foods, a vendor village, rides, and family-friendly games and activities. Children will enjoy challenging their friends to some friendly competition with Wyckoff Day will return to township June 9 the new mobile video game theater. Be sure to check it out. This year, Wyckoff Day will include a new family scavenger hunt, and great prizes, such as gift certificates to the Y and other local businesses. A wide variety of student artwork from the Wyckoff Public Schools will be on exhibit throughout the day. The Dave Fields Band will present the headline performance. Entertainers will also include Dave and Dan Graessle, Anthony Liguori, Jersey Royale, the Studio This ride was popular at last year’s Wyckoff Day. 691 Dance Company, The Evan Toth Band, One More Once, and 12 North. If you love to share your opinions about food, make time to participate in the Chili Cook-off, which is being presented by several local restaurants. Winners will be selected for the People’s Choice Award and the Judge’s Award. Winners will receive bragging rights and a plaque. The event will run from noon through 4 p.m. After you’ve had a taste of chili, sample a sweet treat from the Wyckoff Day Bake Sale table. Proceeds from the Chili Cookoff and Bake Sale will benefit the Wyckoff Volunteer Fire Department and the Wyckoff Ambulance Corps. Each year, Wyckoff Day is enhanced by the participation of civic organizations, schools, the Wyckoff Chamber of Commerce, local merchants and charitable organizations, friends, and neighbors, who contribute to the success of this day that is all about “Celebrating Community.” See you there!
