Kate Hug to wed Denton engaged Chin-Lyn marries
Mr. and Mrs. David Hug of Wyckoff have announced the engagement of their daughter, Kate Lynn Hug, to Thomas Nelson Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Nelson of Ewing. The bride-to-be is a graduate of Ramapo High School and West Chester University, where she majored in business management. She currently works for Hudson Energy in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, as a business development manager. Her fiancé is a graduate of Ewing High School in Ewing. He earned a degree in business management at West Chester University and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in business administration from Rider University. He is employed at Almac Clinical Technologies as a quality assurance analyst. A fall 2013 wedding is planned.
Patricia and Russell Denton of Long Beach Island have announced the engagement of their daughter, Meghan Denton of Ramsey, to Randy Coren of Ramsey, son of Jan and Mike Coren of Wayne. The bride-to-be will begin a master’s degree program in school counseling in September. Her fiancé is a technology educator and FIRST Robotics Team coach at Lakeland High School. An Oct. 6 wedding is planned.
Tamara Michelle Chin-Lyn, daughter of Astor and Janet Chin-Lyn of Mahwah, married David Charles McHenry, son of Charles and Ellen McHenry of Westampton, on June 30 at the Old First Reformed United Church of Christ in historic Philadelphia. Guests helped celebrate afterward with a live band at a formal peacock-themed reception and dinner at the Cescaphė Ballroom in Philadelphia. The bride, wearing a Sophia Tolli gown, Ivon, in diamond white and black, and had eight bridesmaids, two junior bridesmaids, and a flower girl in attendance. The bride is a graduate of Mahwah High School, and earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial and systems engineering from Rutgers University. She is a corporate engineer for the Jones Apparel Group. The groom holds a bachelor’s degree in information technology from Rutgers University and is currently a senior programmer analyst for Hewitt Associates. The couple resides in the Northern Liberties section of Philadelphia.
