The chamber is also seeking vendors for the street fair and antique and classic cars for its 3rd Annual Car Show, held in the commuter parking lot beyond the clock tower. In addition to the car show and vendor booths, Festival Day features two stages with live entertainment throughout the day, a petting zoo, pony rides, food from local restaurants, children’s rides and games, an obstacle course, clowns and balloons, among other attractions. Children can visit all of the attractions for just one $5 donation. A pet parade at 11 a.m. will be followed by the blessing of the pets, with pie baking contest and scarecrow contest results announced at noon. Allendale Community’s bus will shuttle attendees from Crestwood Lake, where free parking will be available. Other merchants, individuals and organizations are encouraged to join in to add to the continued success of Festival Day.
