I thank the council for doing a great job as usual on this year’s budget and to the department heads who did a great job as well,” the mayor said. “Thanks to the residents for working with the town on the I & I program. It proved to be a success and much more work is ahead. We were able to restore the Concerts in the Park for the children, starting on May 30; on June 13 The Bronx Wanderers will perform, and on Sept. 12, a Tribute to Jimmy Buffett. We were also able to restore some of the money (not all of it) to the Senior Club for some of their activities, and lastly, we will continue shared services with Midland Park in regards to the summer rec program,” Giordano noted.
