One of the most memorable models of recent years was one of portly director Alfred Hitchcock, standing in his black suit against that famous silhouette, with a music box attached to the back that played the theme song -- “Funeral March of a Marionette” -- from his 1950s/1960s anthology TV show. The dealers’ room at Chiller Expo is always a journey into the nostalgic, the weird, the hard-to-find, and the one- of-a-kind. Dealers from around the country converge here to display and sell their wares. You can find celebritysigned photos, masks, goth jewelry, movie props, movie stills, books, comics, toys, horror and fantasy magazines, CDs, DVDs of rare TV shows and pre-1960 genre films, games, memorabilia, sports collectibles, and just about anything else fans collect. Take your time. There is a lot to see. If you are looking for something in particular, shop around at the various tables. Prices can vary greatly from one dealer to the next. Chiller Expo will take place at the Hilton Parsippany Hotel in Parsippany from April 27 to 29. Hours are Friday from 6 to11 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets are $25 per day. Children 12 and under are admitted free when accompanied by an adult.
