The council adopted a resolution that noted a reduction in the number of Glen Rock Volunteer Ambulance Corps and Volunteer Fire Department members who qualify for LOSAP, the Length of Service Award Program. This annual event will feature over 100 quality exhibitors with handcrafted items, art, and photographs. The fair will include a large children’s area with pony Autumn Craft & Art Street Fair set reduced from $74,836 to $70,600 by last week’s council vote. In many towns, LOSAP is cited as an additional inducement to volunteers who staff the local emergency service programs. The ordinance that conveys an easement in perpetuity to PSE&G will allow the utility to provide natural gas services to the recycling center improvement project. The improved recycling area, now under construction, will have a headquarters building for the crew that works there and assists residents who bring in their own recyclables, including most forms of plastic, all colors of glass, newsprint, junk mail, and cardboard.
