October 17, 2012 THE VILLADOM TIMES II • Page 9 Ridgewood Village has new emergency management leader by John Koster The Ridgewood Village Council has inaugurated a new command structure for emergency management with the appointments of Jeremy Kleiman as emergency management coordinator and Ridgewood Police Sergeant Brian Pullman as deputy emergency management coordinator. Kleiman, an attorney licensed to practice in New Jersey and New York, is an executive vice president of a development company. He and his wife Anne Volunteer firefighters David Azzopardi, Timothy Bombace, and Dennis Johnson, and Fire Captain John V. Albano took their oaths at the Ridgewood Council meeting. Marie have two children. He has been a Ridgewood resident for 13 years. He has served as an EMT in Ridgewood since 1986 and as deputy emergency management coordinator since 2006. Pullman, a Ridgewood police officer since 1999, is the director and chief of emergency services. Pullman, who began working as a Ridgewood EMT in 1994, is a veteran of the U.S. Army. Ridgewood Mayor Paul Aronsohn and the village council also administered the oath to three new volunteer firefighters, including David Azzopardi, Timothy Bombace, and Dennis Johnson. Veteran fireman John V. Albano took the oath as Ridgewood’s new fire captain. Ridgewood Fire Chief James Van Goor and a number of firefighters and their families attended the oath ceremony and applauded the promotion and the appointments of the three new firefighters.
