Glen Rock The Glen Rock Police Department is investigating three recent burglaries, one of which took place during the Glen Rock Street Fair on Sunday, Sept. 30. The first burglary was reported at a home at Buckingham Place on Sept. 29. A couple reported that their house had been entered and ransacked and that items appeared to be missing. The thief appeared to have entered through an unlocked door. A second burglary was reported on Valley Road during the street fair, apparently between 12:20 p.m. and 1:40 p.m. There were no signs of forcible entry, and the thief may have entered through an unlocked door. iff’s Department burglary unit covered the scene looking for evidence. In a third case, $40 was lifted from an unlocked card parked in a Grandview Avenue driveway. Ridgewood Two burglaries were reported at Gateway Road Sept. 25 and 26, and Ridgewood Police Chief John Ward is warning residents to exercise precautions against crime. A Gateway Road homeowner reported that, when he arrived home at 10:30 p.m., he found his sliding door unlocked. Exhibit continues
The Ridgewood Art Institute Instructor Exhibit will be held throughout the month of October. On exhibit are landscapes, still lifes, portraits, and seascapes. The exhibit is an opportunity to visit The Barn and obtain a schedule of art classes for adults and young people, which are held all year.
