performance of “Tango & Movement.” Kalfayan has performed rock cello for William “Smokey” Robinson and has performed a classical repertoire at Carnegie Hall. On Nov. 11, Kayo Toda and her friend Naoko Sawada will offer a concert on Toda’s marimba backed by Sawada’s piano. Toda, a Ridgewood resident originally from
Japan, has performed in China, Japan, and Korea. A performance by the All Seasons Chambers Players, classically-trained musicians who have played with symphony orchestras all over the United States and in Europe, will round out the year for the Ridgewood Library performance series.
