She was president of Benedetto Construction in Palisades Park. She is survived by her children Carolyne Wasileski and son-in-law Gary, Marolyn Crocker and son-in-law John, Claudia Benedetto, Dave Hasegawa, and John Benedetto Jr. and daughter-in-law Noelle. She is also survived by five grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and her brother Robert Briggs. She was predeceased by her husband John. Kenneth Burton of Midland Park, formerly of Ridgewood, died Nov. 19. He was 88. He was a U.S. military veteran of World War II. His career spanned 40 years as a manufacturer’s representative in the electronics field. He is survived by his wife Jane, his children Brooks of Atlantic Highlands and Melinda Gilsenan of Ho-Ho-Kus, and three grandchildren. Arrangements were made by C.C. Van Emburgh in Ridgewood. Memorial donations may be made to Christ Episcopal Church, 105 Cottage Place, Ridgewood, NJ 07450. William Arthur Conover of Mahwah died Nov. 21. He was 82. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. He attended Rutgers University. He was employed as a mechanical estimator with Herman H. Braun, Inc. for 38 years. After retiring in 1992, he worked part-time for the Redeemer Lutheran Cemetery. He was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, and a volunteer with many organizations, including the Mahwah Board of Health and the Mahwah Museum Society. He is survived by his wife, Doris Conover, his children William S Conover of Bethesda, Maryland, Virginia Conover Vill of Colts Neck, and Kristen Conover Cody of Farmington, Connecticut, and six grandchildren. Ruth Smith Gallo, nee Furman, of Saddle River, formerly of Midland Park, Franklin Lakes, and Hawthorne, Betty Jo Benedetto died Nov. 17. She was 84. For 36 years, she was a devoted caregiver to her son Brian. She was predeceased by her husbands Ian Smith, and Louis Gallo, and by her son Brian. Genna, nee Russo of Ridgewood, formerly of Jericho, Long Island, died Nov. 16. She was 89. She attended College of the City of New York and C.W. Post College. She was a volunteer and served on the boards of the Jericho Public Library, the National Conference of Christians and Jews, and the Nassau County Museum of Fine Arts. She was president of the Jericho Junior-Senior High PTA and later worked on developing programs at the state level. In 1970, she became a Realtor for Birch Tree Realtors in Syosett, New York, and served on the Long Island Real Estate Board. She was a member of the Woman’s Club of Ridgewood and The League for Creative Work, where she served as president in 1998. She is survived by her daughter Janis Fuhrman of Ridgewood, two grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph Genna. Arrangements were made by Feeney Funeral Home in Ridgewood. Elizabeth Kay Glasgow of New Bern, North Carolina, formerly of Mahwah, died Nov. 16. She was 68. She was a 1961 graduate of Mahwah Junior/Senior High School, and a 1964 graduate of the Philadelphia General Hospital School of Nursing. She was employed as a registered nurse for 47 years. She served as a director of nursing in long-term care facilities in Ohio, California, and North Carolina. Her final position was as lead nurse with the North Carolina Department of Corrections. She is survived by her children Robert William Obreiter of Porter Ranch, California, John Michael Obreiter of Houston, Texas, David Andrew Obreiter of Watertown, Connecticut, and Bevin Elizabeth Rogers of Cumming, Georgia, five grandchildren, and her twin sister Louise Ann Glasgow. Annabelle Kreher of Vero Beach, Florida and Ocean City, formerly of Upper Saddle River, died Nov. 20. She is survived by her children Jody Earley of Mahwah, Jill Mayne of Westborough, Massachusetts, Jamie Shay of Vero Beach, Florida and Ocean City, and Jan Policastro of Ho-Ho-Kus. He was finishing his undergraduate degree at Siena College in Loudonville, New York. He is survived by his parents James and Mary “Molly” Reilly (nee Ryan), his siblings Kristin Reilly Bridges, Megan Patricia Reilly, Katherine Marie Reilly, and Mary Bridget Reilly, his grandmother Mary J. Ryan, nieces and nephews Grace and Reilly Bridges, and Ryan Reilly-Bartscher, and aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his grandparents James Ryan and James and Catherine Reilly. Arrangements were made by Feeney Funeral Home in Ridgewood. Johanna Storms, nee Laauwe, of Wyckoff died Nov. 21. She was 98. She graduated from Ramsey High School and was employed as an embroiderer for Wostbrock’s Embroidery Mill in Midland Park, where she worked for 70 years, retiring at age 87. She was a charter member of the Calvin Christian Reformed Church, now Cedar Hill Christian Reformed Church in Wyckoff, and participated in many activities there. She is survived by her children Rev. Karen Popjes and Robert Storms, three grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Robert, her daughter-in-law Arlene Storms, her brothers William C.
