(continued from page 10) music will start at 5:30 p.m. and performances will follow at 7 p.m. The tree lighting ceremony will follow at 7:30 p.m. This year’s tree is even bigger and more spectacular than ever, and event organizers expect several thousand visitors to attend the lighting ceremony. Entertainment at the stage located at the east side of the train station will continue until 8 p.m. Performances will spill out into the streets of the village between 8 and 9 p.m. and will feature Irish dancers under the town clock and on the street. The Ridgewood High School Singers will also perform under the clock and in stores. Fourth grade students from the Benjamin Franklin Middle School will sing and play the bells. The Ridgewood High School Orchestra will send six groups of musicians to entertain in stores and restaurants. Santa will be in his house at Van Neste Square Park from 8 to 9 p.m. to visit with children and hear their requests. The Nov. 30 celebration will include multiple facets. Event organizers have planned some wonderful surprises, so be sure to stay in Ridgewood to catch it all. Make your shopping and dining reservations now. The celebration will continue each Saturday before Christmas. On Saturday, Dec. 1, join Santa for breakfast at The Office Beer Bar and Grill. Call (201) 652-1070 for reservations. everyone through the business district for shopping and dining. From 2 to 4 p.m., Santa will be in his house located at Memorial Park/Van Neste Square. On Dec. 8, Santa will be back in town to have breakfast at The Office from 8 a.m. to noon. For reservations, call (201) 652-1070. At noon, he will return to his house in the park from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The trolley will be traveling through the business district. Visit Santa in the park with any last minute requests from noon to 4 p.m. on Dec. 15 and 22. The trolley will provide free rides on both Saturdays. The Village of Ridgewood will offer free parking on all Saturdays from now until Christmas.
