We raised over $1,000 last year, and this year we are almost at $500. We hope to raise close to $2,000 this year.” Those who want to support the police moustache campaign may contact police officers or visit the team on the page at mobro.co/WyckoffPBA. “The Web address is not a typo,” Taglarieni said. “It is actually ‘mobro.co’ and not ‘mobro.com.’ “Not only is it a great cause, but it builds camaraderie among the men. It is definitely a conversation starter when three or four cops show up at a call wearing moustaches.” The moustache contest will run through most of the month, with the final showdown to be held at 3 Chicas Restaurant on Nov. 28. Manager Lee Parker has volunteered to donate $20 percent of that day’s proceeds to the cause. J. KOSTER
