Richard M. Agnello Sr. of Naples, Florida, formerly of Glen Rock, died Oct. 28. He was 89. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII. Before retiring, he was the owner and operator of Town Garage and Sons in Ridgewood for many years. He was a member of the Glen Rock Volunteer Fire Department for over 60 years, Masonic Lodge #113 in Ridgewood, the Elks Club in Ridgewood, American Legion Post #145 in Glen Rock, VFW Post 850 in Glen Rock, and the auxiliary police departments of both Ridgewood and Glen Rock. He was also a member of the North Naples Volunteer Fire Department in Naples, Florida, and the Double 5 Gun Club in Broome Center, New York. He is survived by his children Richard M. Agnello Jr. of Sterling Forest, New York, Steven Agnello of Upper Greenwood Lake, and Karen Agnello of Waldwick, six grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. He was predeceased by his wife Dorothy (Johanson) Agnello, and his sister Constance Zenock. Arrangements were made by Vander Plaat-Caggiano Funeral Home in Fair Lawn. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII. He graduated from Flushing High School and the University of Notre Dame. He worked as an FBI agent from 1951 to 1977, and for the New York State Racing and Wagering Board from 1978 to 1991. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Carmel R.C. Church in Ridgewood. She graduated from Paramus High School in 1963, and worked for Dietchi Pharmaceutical as a documentation specialist. She was a member of the Ridgewood Chapter No. 39, Order of the Eastern Star, and a member of Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Wyckoff. She is survived by her husband Edward W. Archbold of Glen Rock, her sister Sophia Moore, one niece and one nephew. She was predeceased by her parents James and Mary Diamond. Arrangements were made by C.C. She earned her associate degree at Bergen Community College in 1979. She was a hairdresser for Williams Hairdresser in Ridgewood in the 1950s. She was a member of the Old Paramus Reformed Church in Ridgewood and its women’s guild. She volunteered at the Bergen Pines County Hospital, providing hairdressing services to elderly and infirm residents. She is survived by her children James of Ridgewood, Jill Price of Marlboro, Joann Rauso of Red Bank, and Joseph of Lodi, four grandchildren, three greatgrandchildren, one niece, and one nephew. She was predeceased by her husband James Harris, her parents Joseph and Velma Cheney, and her sister Sarah Martha Southwick.

Lauerman, formerly of Ridgewood, died Oct. 27. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of WWII. He graduated from the Bronx High School of Science, received a bachelor’s degree from Pace University, and earned a master’s in business from Columbia University. He had a long career as an executive in the textile industry. He served on the board of the Ridgewood Football Association, and was a member of the Holy Name Society of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Ridgewood. He is survived by his children Kathleen M. Commin of Ridgewood, Dr. William C. Lauerman of Great Falls, Virginia, Stephen D. Lauerman of Tampa, Florida, and Colleen M. Lauerman of Arlington, Virginia, and seven grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Veronica M. Lauerman (nee Crowley). Arrangements were made by Feeney Funeral Home in Ridgewood. Memorial donations may be made to the Marine Corps Heritage Foundation in Dumfries, Virginia. Barbara Lou Schubert of Ridgewood died Oct. 18. She was a member of the Ridgewood Country Club. She is survived by her children Charles Warren Corbishley of Rochester, New York and Annie Lange of Eaton Rapids, Michigan, her stepson Geoffrey Schubert, and 11 grandchildren. Rosemary Ann White, nee Masciarelli, of Sea Girt, formerly of Allendale, Harwichport, Massachusetts, and Manasquan, died Oct. 26. She was 86. She was a former parishioner of the Guardian Angel R.C. Church in Allendale, and Saint Dennis R.C. Church in Manasquan. She is survived by her children Jeanne Kreutzer of Sea Girt, Susan Greimel of Allendale, and Stephen of Ho-Ho-Kus, 10 grandchildren, four greatgrandchildren, and her sisters Violet of Norwood, Massachusetts and Dorothy of Dedham, Massachusetts.
