May 16, 2012 THE VILLADOM TIMES II • Page 9 Paul Mast, landscape specialist and master gardener, will present two workshops at the Glen Rock Arboretum, which is located on Doremus Avenue next to the pool parking lot. The workshops will begin at 1 p.m. and will be held rain or shine. “The Many Disguises of Poison Ivy” will be offered on Sunday, May 27 at 1 Glen Rock Arboretum to offer two workshops p.m. Attendees will learn how to protect themselves from this often attractive looking plant. On June 3, Mast will take participants on a walking tour of the arboretum, a certified Wildlife Habitat that contains over 170 species of trees and shrubs. The fee to attend each workshop is $8 for adults; $5 for seniors, students, and arboretum members. Attendees are encouraged to wear rain boots and rain gear if necessary.
