Located at 140 Hopper Avenue in Waldwick, Greenhouse Golf provides the ultimate indoor golf experience to the occasional or serious golfer, and is the largest indoor golf entertainment center in the region. The facility boasts 10 official PGA golf simulators where visitors can play courses normally reserved for the world’s premier golfers, an 18-hole dynamic theme park-like miniature golf course, two putting greens, versatile party and meeting space, golf instruction in the Carl Rabito Academy at Greenhouse Golf, summer camps, a café, and a professional staff. “We look forward to our opening in April so we can share Greenhouse Golf with area residents. We’ve got great programs here – including golf Academy programs for junior golfers who Greenhouse Golf aspire to play competitively. We’ll have something for golfers of all ages and experience levels,” said General Manager Rich DiMartino. The in-house production and event team brought its expertise to the design of each area of the facility, creating a multi-media golf experience, flexible meeting and party spaces with professional audio and video capabilities, and entertainment stages for live performances. The co-founding owners of Greenhouse Golf are all area residents and have been extremely involved in the creation of the business and renovation of the building. The “Green” in Greenhouse Golf reflects the business’ commitment to the environment and sustainability, from implemented energy savings measures to its recycling program. ECF, which was named for a little boy named Emmanuel who lost his battle with cancer nearly 30 years ago, uses monetary contributions to cover the costs associated with providing free services to any New Jersey child who has cancer. Each month, we distribute about 140 bags of food to our families. You can help us fill our pantry. When you go grocery shopping and something non-perishable is on sale, please grab some extra items and drop them off at our outreach center. Our families appreciate your efforts. Staples such as sugar, flour, salt, cooking oil, detergent, pancake mix/syrup, and rice are always needed. Meet Jerrel: Jerrel is a 14-year old boy with leukemia. Life was very tough at the initial stages of Jerrel’s illness as neither parent was able to work, between the intensive care they had to provide for him and the fact that there was an infant sibling at home. Before affiliating with ECF, Jerrel’s family lived in a shelter. Jerrel spent several months in the hospital, so his parents had to take turns living there with him. He had a poor appetite, could not keep much in his stomach, and lost a good deal of weight. He was later diagnosed with diabetes and was put on insulin.
