Ridgewood July 25, 2012 THE VILLADOM TIMES II • Page 11 Swim team off to a strong start The Graydon Swim Team is off to a great start, and has posted a 3-0 record with victories over Fair Lawn, Crestwood, and Glen Rock. Each meet has been exciting and competitive, with Graydon swimmers producing some impressive performances. A few of the highlights include Harry Linden’s close first place victory in the 25 meter breast stroke against Crestwood with a time of 24:60. Emerson Klein had an outstanding race against Fair Lawn in the 50 meter butterfly, securing a first place finish with a time of 37:31. Ashleigh Afromsky demonstrated her endurance in the meet against Glen Rock, achieving a first place finish in the 200 meter individual medley with a time of 2:44:37. Swimmers and coaches are looking forward to the second half of the season.
