Mary V. Murphy, nee Vaughan, of Midland Park, formerly of Ridgewood, died Feb. 15 She was 95. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Carmel R.C. Church in Ridgewood and the Church of the Nativity in Midland Park. She is survived by her children Charles J. Murphy, Eileen Collins, and Marie M. McKeon, 11 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Charles Murphy, and her brothers John Vaughan and Bishop Austin B. Vaughan. Arrangements were made by Vander Plaat Caggiano Funeral Home in Fair Lawn. Elsie Anna Nagelhout, nee Lagerveld, of Glen Rock, formerly of Paterson, died Feb. 19. She was 83. She was a graduate of Eastside High School and worked as a florist for her family’s business, Lagerveld Florist. She was a member of Abundant Life Reformed Church in Wyckoff, and a former member of Union Reformed Church in Franklin Lakes. She was the chairwoman of the Abundant Life Prayer Chain group. She is survived by her husband John Nagelhout of Glen Rock, her children Gary Nagelhout of Wappingers Falls, New York, Joyce Lynn Nagelhout, and Roy John Nagelhout, both of Glen Rock, four grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Arrangements were made by Browning-Forshay Funeral Home in Hawthorne. Valerie Laura Gough Poole of Virginia Beach and Richmond, Virginia, formerly of Ridgewood, died Feb. 13. She was 80. She graduated from Ridgewood High and the Berkeley Secretarial School. She worked for many years at C.L. Hargett Insurance in Ridgewood and Travelers and Markel Insurance in Virginia. She is survived by her children John of Ridgewood, David of Chesapeake, Virginia, and Laura of Virginia Beach, Virginia, five grandchildren, and her siblings Carol, Margie, and Kathy. Warren Jeffrey Richman of Glen Rock, formerly of Allendale and Ewing Township, died Feb. 21. He was 61. He is survived by his son Justin Harold Richman, his brother Steven, his Aunt Diane, a niece and nephew, many cousins, and his partner Kelly Wiessner and her children, Kat and James. He was predeceased by his wife Susan M. (nee Obeda), and his daughter Shannon Reed Richman. Arrangements were made by Louis Suburban Chapel in Fair Lawn. He was a route salesman for the Wonder Bread Company in Paterson for 22 years, and retired in 1985. He was a member of the Elmwood Park Senior Center. He is survived by his children Richard J. of Fair Lawn, Ralph of West Bloomfield, Michigan, and Eileen Black of Wyckoff, three grandchildren, and his sisters Kay Conway of Wayne and Lucy Conway of Hasbrouck Heights. He was predeceased by his wife Antoinette (nee Internoscia). Arrangements were made by the Patrick J. Conte Funeral Home, Inc. in Elmwood Park. Robert G. Ulrich of Wyckoff and Hilton Head, South Carolina, died Feb. 22. He was 76. He was a graduate of Loyola Academy, Chicago, Illinois, Marquette University and Marquette Law School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Prior to his retirement in 2000, he was an attorney serving as general counsel for A&P in Montvale. He was a member of Saint Elizabeth’s R.C. Church in Wyckoff, serving on the Liturgy Committee and as a Eucharistic minister. He was a volunteer at the Christian Health Care Center and Saint Martin de Porres Kitchen in Jersey City. He was a former tutor at Sacred Heart School in Jersey City. He was a member of The Indian Trail Club in Franklin Lakes and a former member of Ridgewood County Club. He was a member of Activities Unlimited. He is survived by his wife Diane (nee Granzin) of Wyckoff, his children Jeff Ulrich of Clinton Township, Laura E. Brett of Rye, New York and Meredith C. Hill of Mooresville, North Carolina, 11 grandchildren, and his sister Patricia Pankus of Lake Geneva,

Memorial donations may be made to Sacred Heart School, 183 Bayview Avenue, Jersey City, NJ 07305. William A. Unrath of Ramsey died Feb. 16. He was 84. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War. He was employed by IBM for 35 years as a field engineer and as the company’s representative for the New York Stock Exchange. He received as bachelor’s degree in environmental science and business in 1985 and a bachelor’s of art in environmental studies in 1992, both from Ramapo College. He served as a deacon and elder of The First Presbyterian Church of Ramsey, volunteered building and repairing homes in the U.S. and abroad, prepared meals for shelters, and served on the Ramsey Environmental Commission and the Ramsey Planning Board. He was a 32nd degree Mason, served as Master of Hawthorne Fortitude Lodge in Ramsey, was a Shriner, and a member of the American Legion. He was a licensed ham radio operator. He is survived by his wife Dorothy, his children Barbara Meyer of Gainesville, New York, Katherine of Kettering, Ohio, Karl of Webster, New York, and Gail of Hudson, New York, and four grandchildren. Arrangements were made by Vander Plaat Funeral Home in Wyckoff. A memorial service will take place March 3 at 10:30 a.m. at The First Presbyterian Church in Ramsey. Lois Catherine Wilson, nee Bergmann, of Naples, Florida, formerly of Ramsey, died Feb. 17. She was 75. She was a member of Lutheran Church of the Redeemer in Ramsey. She is survived by her children Kirk, Lori, Teri, and Robert, three grandchildren, and her sister Jean. She was predeceased by her husband Kirk L. Wilson, her son Todd, and her sister Ruth. Arrangements were made by Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home in Ramsey.
