Some of the AP Scholars are current seniors and some have graduated with the Class of 2012 and have gone to matriculate at major colleges and universities throughout the United States. William J. McCormack of Pearl River, New York has been recognized as a National AP Scholar, an honor granted to those students who earn scores of four or higher on all AP exams taken, and grades of four or higher on eight or more AP exams. (Note: AP exams are graded on a scale of one through five, with five being the top score.) Seventeen Don Bosco students have been recognized as AP Scholars with Distinction. This designation is granted to students who receive scores of 3.5 or higher on Don Bosco Prep recognizes 51 AP Scholars Fifty-one Don Bosco Prep students have been recognized as Advanced Placement Scholars.
