Superintendent of Schools Dr. Daniel Fishbein and Board of Education President Sheila Brogan attended last week’s council meeting and urged that the parking spaces at Heermance Place, which are tucked up against one side of Ridgewood High School, be reserved for teachers who often live some miles from the school. Dr. Fishbein said there are 186 parking spaces available on the high school campus, including eight handicapped spots, while there are 215 staff members. Walsh said teachers could park at the Graydon lot and walk to the school, and Riche said he believed the board had not explored all options. Residents Boyd and Anne Loving agreed.
