December 5, 2012 THE VILLADOM TIMES II & IV • Page 13 Thank you! The Highland and Godwin schools in Midland Park received a face lift this summer thanks to the efforts of dedicated parents and students. Wendy McGuigan was the driving force behind the new landscaping and school signs. She assembled a group of volunteers to help dig, plant, and mulch the front of both schools. Under the guidance of Gil Asch, the design was created and materials were purchased for volunteers to plant. Henry Tupaj hung the new school signs and installed a new flower box at Highland School. The project could not have been completed without the assistance of Rudy Gnehm and the Midland Park DPW. The school administration expresses its deepest gratitude to everyone who helped bring this idea to fruition.
