He taught catalytic organizational leadership and work team effectiveness at Columbia Business School. As marketing adviser for British American Tobacco, he traveled the world, including Africa, Asia, Latin America, and Europe. He eventually lived in Malaysia and later settled in the United States. His career included time with Harvard University, University of Virginia, Becton Dickinson, and Columbia University. He was a member of Ridgewood Country Club and Royal Dornoch Golf Club. He is survived by his wife Maylin Biggadike, his children Ella Biggadike Harris, Andrew Biggadike, Oliver Biggadike, and his sister Lynne Biggadike. Arrangements were made by C.C. She was a 1954 graduate of the College of New Rochelle, and received her master’s degree in computer science from Iona College. She was the first woman underwriter for Mutual of New York Insurance. She became a substitute teacher in the Allendale schools, followed by a career in computer education with the Girl Scouts of America. She was a parishioner at Guardian Angel R.C. Church in Allendale where she served as a Eucharistic minister and director of religious education. She was a volunteer at the Valley Hospital and with the Friends of the Allendale Library. She was a member of the Arcola Country Club. She is survived by her husband J. Brien Comey, her children Patricia of New York City, James Comey of Westport, Connecticut, Peter Comey of Vienna, Virginia, and Christopher Comey of Long Meadow, Massachusetts. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and her sisters Irene Matthews, Barbara Traub, Susan Clarke, and Mary Herald. She was predeceased by her grandson Collin Comey. Joseph Marangi of Glen Rock, formerly of Ridgewood, died Aug. 16. He was 78. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He graduated from Virginia Military Institute in 1956. He was a partner of Ralph Marangi & Company in Carlstadt for more than 30 years. He is survived by his wife Elsie (nee Scheffler), his daughters Lisa Marie Marangi of Ridgewood and Michele M. She is survived by her children Ralph Melchiorre of Cedar Knolls, Marlene Dey of Lake Hiawatha, and Philip Melchiorre of River Vale, and three grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters Florence Lucibello, Mary Lembo, and Christine Doria, all of Hawthorne. Kraus Miriam Koskinen formerly of Ridgewood, died Aug. 15. She was 100. She was a graduate of Westwood High School and began her career in Manhattan as a secretary in the insurance field. Later she worked from home and eventually became secretary for her church, where she worked and volunteered until age 96. She was a member of the Old Paramus Church in Ridgewood. She was the founder of her Annual Widows Luncheon Group. She is survived by her sister-in-law Aimee A. Ranzau of North Carolina; nieces Aimee Ranzau Blacker of North Carolina, Margaret Ranzau Callaghan of Pennsylvania, Barbara Radcliff Congelosi of Arizona, and Barbara Ranzau Taylor of Vermont; nephew George Ranzau of Arizona; and cousins Frank Jordon of Nevada, Gail Jordon of Maryland, Thomas Jordon of Thailand, George E. Ranzau of New Jersey, and many great-nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Howell Radcliff. Haan was first ignored and later threatened by U.S. officials. The new book has been endorsed by Admiral Ronald J. Hays, former commander in chief of Pacific Forces and by former FBI counter-intelligence officer Thomas K. Kimmel, a graduate of Annapolis and leading Pearl Harbor scholar. Kimmel is the grandson of Admiral Husband E. Kimmel, one of the two principal scapegoats for the catastrophic attack. The book is now available at Amazon.com and contains eight pages of photographs, some of which were never before available to the general public.
