Pat Mahoney To you I have recourse from Midland Park During the devastating October snowstorm last year, Kevin was there throughout the night with our fire department and DPW team helping our residents in their time of need. I can say without any reservation that Kevin has set the example and displayed the leadership skills needed to lead our town forward. The Rooney-Jepsen team continues today to give of themselves as community volunteers. Kevin and Haakon are as equally devoted to their families as they are to maintaining the character and charm of our town. They understand their fiscal responsibility to the taxpayers, and are committed to open space and regulating over-building. Today, as our township is faced with increased state, federal, and local tax burdens, Kevin and Haakon are poised to meet those challenges. Please cast your vote this Nov. 6 to re-elect Kevin Rooney and to elect Haakon Jepsen to the Wyckoff Township Committee. Bruce Peters Wyckoff Dear Editor: In less than 60 days, we will have another chance to be heard at the polls. If the people of Wyckoff want to express a desire for real change, I urge everyone to take a good look at Eileen Avia. Avia has given our town many years of service, and has taught in Wyckoff’s schools for 22 years. She has volunteered to serve on numerous local committees, and has given tirelessly of her time. Eileen is a hardworking professional, and a homeowner, a taxpayer, and a parent who has raised her children in Wyckoff. She understands the issues, and is sensitive to the needs of voters on every level. We should give Eileen our support and give her a chance to make a real difference in our community. Wyckoff deserves a fresh new face with new ideas. I am a registered Republican, but I will once again cross the line and vote for Eileen Avia for township committee in column two on Nov. 6. Real change begins on your local level. Toni Brienza Wyckoff Crossing party line to support Avia MAIL TO: CLASSIFIEDS-VILLADOM TIMES P Box 96, Midland Park, NJ 07432 .O.
