Pauline C. Black of Midland Park died Oct. 19. She was 93. She was born in Costa Rica. Virginia M. Connell, nee McGrath, of Wyckoff died Oct. 24. She was 90. She was a parishioner of Saint Elizabeth’s R.C. Church in Wyckoff, and was a member of the Astrology Women’s Club and a mahjongg circle. She is survived by her children John F. Connell of Wyckoff, Kevin J. Connell of Franklin Lakes, and Carol Connell Cannon of Monroe, New York, her step-grandson Ian Cannon, and many nieces and nephews. Jane M. Donlan, nee Chapman, of Waldwick, formerly of Wyckoff, died Oct. 22. She was 61. She was most recently employed by the Mahwah Board of Education teaching pre-K special education. Previously, she worked at several Jersey City schools, with the Bergen County Special Services, and with many one-on-one special needs children. She is survived by her children Kelly and Kevin, her father James J. Chapman, her sisters Kathy Schal, Merri Duchak, Trish Benevento, and Grace Ann Cupo. She was predeceased by her son Shane Patrick Donlan, and her mother, Mary “Daisy” Chapman. Arrangements were made by Vander Plaat Funeral Home in Wyckoff. Catherine Hagens, nee Lamring, of Wyckoff, formerly of Wayne, died Oct. 24. She was 92. She worked as a slugger on the production line for Nabisco in Fair Lawn for 25 years. She was a member of Unity Christian Reformed Church in Prospect Park. She is survived by her sister Wilma Lamring of Wyckoff, and several nieces and nephews. Arrangements were made by Browning Forshay Funeral Home in Wyckoff. Bruce A. Nelson of Midland Park died Oct. 5. He was 65. He was a 1965 graduate of Abraham Clark High School in Roselle. He attended Cornell University and was a member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity. He graduated from Bloomfield College. Before retiring in 2007, he was a manufacturer’s representative at Baldor Electric Co. He was a member of the Irish folk group, The Bantry Boys. He was a parishioner of Saint Elizabeth R.C. Church in Wyckoff, and a member of Saint Paul’s in Roselle. He is survived by his wife Kathleen Graney, his mother Wilma Nelson, his siblings Dale Nelson and Joyce Oehler, and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Arthur Nelson. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War. He was a sales executive for International Harvester/Navistar for over 30 years. He was a Ridgewood Baseball Association Little League coach for seven years, and a member of American Legion Post 53 in Ridgewood. He is survived by his wife Ingrid, his son Stephen, daughter-in-law Eleanor, and three grandchildren. Arrangements were made by Feeney Funeral Home in Ridgewood. Ann E. Richardson, nee Hansen, of Glen Rock, died Oct. 23. She was 87. A homemaker, she had worked at Wright Aeronautical during World War II. She is survived by her children Peter L. Richardson and Ann M. Richardson, both of Glen Rock, and one grandson. She was predeceased by her husband Robert L. Richardson, and her siblings Soren Hansen and Margaret Burke. Arrangements were made by Browning Forshay Funeral Home in Hawthorne. Louise A. Rokoszak of Mahwah died Oct. 21. She was 83. She was a 1947 graduate of Saint Dominic’s Academy. She worked for Queen of Peace Church in North Arlington and then at Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Franklin Lakes. She is survived by her daughter Judy of Belmar, her son John and daughter-in-law Laura of Mahwah, and four grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Anthony Rokoszak. After retiring he was a crossing guard for the Midland Park Police Department for 10 years. He was a member of the VFW Post 7086 in Midland Park. Ann Hillen Shearin of Allendale, formerly of Monroe and Goshen, New York, died Oct. 18. She was 87. She had a long and successful career with Frontier Communications, and was active in her community and church. She is survived by her children Kitty O’Keefe, Dennis, and Kevin, two grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Arrangements were made by C. C. Van Emburgh Funeral Home in Ridgewood. Mary Margaret Fallace Springer of Ridgewood and Barnegat Light, died Oct. 22. She was 60. She attended Saint Rose of Lima School in Washington Heights, New York and Ridgewood High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in special education from Indiana State University, and taught in the Park Ridge and River Dell Regional school districts. She is survived by her husband Ken Springer, her sons Michael Patrick Springer, Kenneth Henry Springer, William George Springer, and Thomas Stephen Springer, three grandchildren, her mother Brenda Fallace, her sisters Ann Petrides, Elizabeth Fallace, Katherine Pizzo, Virginia Muzzillo, Christine Kay, and 21 nieces and nephews. Priscilla Wintrode of Forty Fort, Pennsylvania, formerly of Upper Saddle River, died Oct. 21. She was 74. She is survived by her children Robin Carlock, Tracy Rafalski, Dawn English, Wendy Church, Billie Wintrode, and Kyle Wintrode, and nine grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings Audrey Connelly, Jack and George Wright, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Nelson and Mary Estella McGraph Wright. He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of WWII. He is survived by his children Charles of Holmdel, Jennifer Nolan of Wyckoff, and Hugh Zona of Little Falls, four grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.
