The New Jersey Department of Transportation will be improving and straightening the rails, and flattening the road surface to remove the hump. The closing will be effective 24 hours a day. Motorists will be asked to take a detour around the closed roadway using Franklin Avenue and Godwin Avenue. Wyckoff Avenue railroad crossing to be closed Southbound traffic will be asked to turn onto Godwin Avenue and follow the detour route. Northbound traffic on Wyckoff Avenue will be asked to turn onto Franklin Avenue and follow the detour route. However, all residential homes and all businesses on Wyckoff Avenue and adjacent roadways will be accessible during regular business hours throughout the five-day project. “Simply stated, all areas can be reached by vehicle except that motorists cannot The Wyckoff Board of Education is seeking volunteers from the township to serve on the Wyckoff School Strategies Planning Committee.
