October 3, 2012 THE VILLADOM TIMES I • Page 15 A great day for a good cause The Midland Park community and Midland Park High School alumni turned out to play softball or cheer on the players at the recent softball game fundraiser to benefit Elaine Mejury Mazurek, a MPHS graduate who is battling breast cancer. Residents renewed acquaintances, showed off young families and volunteered to help out where needed. Mazurek was a member of Midland Park softball, soccer, and basketball teams and continued to play throughout college.
