Page 4 THE VILLADOM TIMES I • May 16, 2012 Midland Park Latest fashions The Midland Park Branch of the Valley Hospital Auxiliary recently held its annual Fashion Show/ Basket Fundraiser featuring fashions and accessories from Kurth Cottage Gift Shop at the hospital. Free open houses at Waldwick Pool Midland Park residents will have the opportunity to check out the Waldwick Pool prior to signing on for the season during two open house weekends. Residents of the two communities will be able to use the Hopper Avenue facility free of charge during Memorial Day weekend and the following weekend, June 2 and 3. Badges, available at a pre-season price of $55 per adult, must be presented thereafter. Resident and non-resident registrations for the 2012 season are now being accepted, with forms available on the website www.waldwicknj.org under “Municipal Forms”. To date 200 badges have been sold, with half of that number purchased by Midland Park residents. Waldwick residents, meanwhile, have been availing themselves of Midland Park’s summer recreation program, to run June 25 through Aug. 3. A total of 24 Waldwick youngsters have already signed up, with seven of them choosing the extended program. According to Councilman Scott Pruiksma, 160 youngsters have registered thus far for the six-week camp, with 31 choosing the extended program and 40 signing up for tennis.
