Breakfast will be served from 7 to 11 a.m. at the church located at 269 Godwin Avenue. The cost is $5 for adults and $2 for children under 12.Tickets may be purchased at the door or at church office on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9 to 11 a.m. Auxiliary slates meeting American Legion Auxiliary Unit 130 will meet May 9 at Veteran’s Hall on Faner Road in Midland Park. The group will discuss its plans for the May poppy sale and the Memorial Day parade. The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. Refreshments will be served. Register for Vacation Bible Camp Children from preschoolers through seventh graders are invited to Sun Rise National Park Vacation Bible School at Faith Reformed Church. The camp will run daily 9 a.m. to noon, July 9 through 13. Activities will include skits, singing, and crafts. Garage Sale set The Midland Park Church of God, located at 400 Godwin Avenue, will hold a Garage Sale on Friday, May 18 and Saturday, May 19. Annual Rabies Clinic set The Midland Park Board of Health will hold its annual free Rabies Vaccination Clinic on Monday, May 14. Dogs on leashes will be vaccinated from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Cats in carriers are welcome from 7:30 to 8 p.m. The clinic will be held in the Midland Park Municipal Building at 280 Godwin Avenue. Pets of area residents are welcome. Gardening series begins Jacobsen Landscape Design and Construction is offering a series of free presentations on spring gardening at its Design Center and Display Gardens at 413 Godwin Avenue in Midland Park. The series will include brief presentations followed by question and answer sessions. Seniors travel to Atlantic City The Northwest Bergen Senior Activity Center in Midland Park will host a trip to Caesar’s Casino in Atlantic City on Wednesday, May 30. The cost of the trip is $25 per person and includes a casino bonus of $25 for slot play. Participants must have valid government-issued photo identification to receive the casino bonus. New neighbor Bill’s Stylish Home recently celebrated its grand opening in Midland Park with a ribbon cutting ceremony.
