She was a parishioner of Saint Luke’s R.C. Church in Ho-Ho-Kus, where she was a member of the Rosary Altar Society. She was an attendant to church flowers and linens many years ago. She is survived by her children Denise, Douglas, Gerard, and Michele Campbell all of Waldwick, Jeanette A. Rydh of Southampton, and Richard Campbell of Saint Charles, Missouri, five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Charles M. Campbell. Rita Munroe DeMayo, nee Corbet, of Ridgewood died March 5. She was 84. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Carmel R.C. Church in Ridgewood, where she was active in the PTA, a member of the Rosary Altar Society, a Eucharistic minister, and a member of the Catholic Daughters of America. She was a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, and served on the Salve Regina University Board of Directors in Newport, Rhode Island, where she received a Doctorate of Humane Letters. She was a member of Covenant House in New York. She is survived by her children Martin Jr., Robert, Therese Emond, Brian, Maureen Munroe, Betsy Tapp, Patricia Hefferon, Sean, Tara Callaghan, Neil Munroe, and Andrea DeSanctis; stepchildren Mary Mazzoni, Joe, Bill, Jack, Joan Schmarge, and Jean Hennelly; 34 grandchildren; and her siblings Mary Lou Sweeney and Frank Corbet. Daniel Lupo of Franklin Lakes, formerly of Waldwick, died March 4. He was 80. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a policeman in Waldwick for 41 years and served as police chief for 21 years. He was a founding member of the Waldwick Police and Rifle Club, and was the Waldwick police photographer. He attended Rockland Community College, graduated from Kodak Photographic Institute, and graduated in the 99th session of the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia. He was a member of PBA Local 217, Waldwick, and a member of the Bergen County Police Chief’s Association, serving as president from 1991 to 1992. He worked as a ranger at the Darlington Golf Course in Mahwah. He is survived by his wife Loretta (nee Blum) of Franklin Lakes, his children Loretta Ross and Don Lupo, and one granddaughter. Daniel Lupo She graduated from Ridgewood High School Class of 1935. During the 1940s, she was administrative assistant to the principal of Ridgewood High School. Before retiring, she was an administrative assistant at Northeast Industries in Midland Park. She was a volunteer at The Depot in Midland Park, which is affiliated with Children’s Aid and Family Services. She is survived by her daughter Carol, and several cousins. He was born in Bari, Corato, Italy. He was owner and president of Arrow Steel Inc. of Paterson and was a real estate entrepreneur. He is survived by his wife Gail, his daughters Rita Ferraro of Ramsey, Lisa Tondo of New York, and Gianna Richardson of Upper Saddle River, six grandchildren, three brothers, two sisters, and many nieces and nephews. High school soccer players are eligible to participate in the Northwest Bergen Soccer League, but the town limit is two teams. Only the first 40 registrations will be accepted. All others will be placed on a waiting list. The high school league is co-ed and practices once a week. Games are held on Sunday afternoons. The fee is $80 per participant. The first and second grade soccer programs are instructional programs for players who will be entering grades one and two in September. First grade boys will meet from 9 to 10 a.m. on Saturdays and first grade girls will meet from 10:15 to 11:15 a.m. Second grade boys and girls will play structured games on Saturday mornings on town fields. The registration fee is $55. The kindergarten soccer program is an instructional program for players who will be entering kindergarten (not pre-K or transitional K) in September. Kindergarteners meet on Saturdays from 9 to 10 a.m. or 10 to 11 a.m. at Pulis Field on Wyckoff Avenue behind the YMCA. The registration fee is $55. Children in kindergarten through grade two may participate in both soccer and football. Football registration will be held in May. However, children in grades three through eight may not participate in both sports during the same season.
