The food will be delivered to local seniors and the Children’s Love Fund with the assistance of the Wyckoff Health Department. The PHCC Food Pantry will receive donations until March 25 at the church, 500 West Main Street, between 10 a.m. and noon or by special arrangement with Sherry Davis. Call (201) 704-2676. Easter Egg Hunt planned Cedar Hill Christian Reformed Church will host a Community Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 31 at 2 p.m. at the church located at 422 Cedar Hill Avenue. (Rain date: April 7.) Admission is free, and children of all ages are invited to participate. The church will be accepting non-perishable food items for New Hope Community Ministries. Help stop identity theft The Friends of the Wyckoff Public Library will sponsor a workshop about identity theft on Wednesday, April 18 at 7 p.m. A representative from the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office will offer tips about how criminals gain access to one’s identity, how identity is revealed, how people can protect themselves, and what to do if personal information is lost or stolen. Ladies Night Out set The Parent Committee of the Wyckoff Reformed Church Nursery School will host its Ladies Night Out on March 29 at 7 p.m. in Heneveld Hall of the Wyckoff Reformed Church, 580 Wyckoff Avenue. The event will feature 20 vendors, light refreshments, and a special auction. Auction prizes include an iPad, LeapPad, iPod Nano, nook, tickets to museums and sporting events, gift certificates to local restaurants and spas, and more. All proceeds are used by the committee for the nursery school and a scholarship fund. The event is open to all. Temple plans dance party Temple Beth Rishon will host The Templetons with special guest band SR2 on Saturday, March 24 at 7:30 p.m. The Templetones features TBR Cantor Ilan Mamber, congregants Jane Koch, Gale Bindelglass, Irwin Tessler, and Jimmy Cohen, and Cantor Barry Kanarek from Nanuet Jewish Center. SR2, formerly known as Shake, Rabbis, and Roll, is a classic rock cover band that includes Rabbi Robbie Harris, Jerry Snider, Barry Presser, Jerry Goldman, and Barbara Orwick. Pizza and dessert will be served. This event is free for Beth Rishon members with advance reservations. The cost for non-members is $10 per adult and $5 per teen. The event will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. in the library program room. All teens are welcome. Participants should be prepared to be challenged both mentally and physically. Soccer registration announced The Wyckoff Recreation Department will hold registration for the fall soccer season on March 17 from 9 to 11 a.m. and March 19 from 7:30 to 9 p.m. in the Eisenhower School cafeteria at 344 Calvin Court. Registration will also be held March 20 through 24 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the recreation office on Woodland Avenue. The Northwest Bergen Soccer League is for players born from Aug. 1, 1996 to July 31, 2004. Girls play on Saturday mornings and boys play on Sunday afternoons. Both practice once a week on a day to be determined by the coach.
