Catherine Cecilia Carbotti, nee Cinelli, of Wyckoff, formerly of Franklin Lakes, died June 11. She was 90. She was a homemaker and a parishioner of Most Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church in Franklin Lakes. She volunteered for The Valley Hospital Auxiliary in Ridgewood for 40 years, and was a buyer for the hospital’s Kurth Cottage Gift Shop. She is survived by her children Martin Carbotti of Clifton, Pamela Watters of Rhode Island, and Michael Carbotti of Colonia, three grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and her sister Mae Forleo of Colorado. She was predeceased by her husband Michael Carbotti, her grandchild Christopher Carbotti, and three brothers and three sisters. Arrangements were made by Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial Home in Franklin Lakes. Olive Mae Ippolito, nee Poss, of Wyckoff died June 10. She was 91. She is survived by her children Lynda, Judy, Stephen, Joseph, and Deborah, three grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph. Reverend Marvin Meeter of Wyckoff, formerly of Lakewood, died June 8. He was 89. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII. He served Reformed Churches in Brooklyn, Saddle Brook, Long Island, and Michigan until his retirement in 1987. He continued preaching in various local churches until recently. He was a member of Faith Reformed Church in Midland Park. He is survived by his wife Trena Meeter (nee Hartog) of Wyckoff, his children Henry Meeter of Saddle Brook, Rev. Dr. Daniel Meeter of Brooklyn, Ruth Linton of California, Paul Meeter of Michigan, Ellyn Deneau of Michigan, and William Meeter of Michigan, 12 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Arrangements were made by Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial Home in Franklin Lakes. Robert S. Rapenske of Glen Rock died June 8. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He graduated from Alfred State College in Alfred, New York. Before retiring in 1988, he was employed at I.B.M. for 32 years. He worked for H&R Block from 1989 to 2012. Sheehan Jr. and Madalyn Olive of Greenwood Lake, New York, Rosemary and John Leyden of Mahwah, Lorraine and Jeff Kunz of Oakland, Elizabeth and James Ketterer of Warwick, New York and Jeanne and James Saeli of Warwick, New York. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and her sister Beatrice Allen of Union City. She was predeceased by her husband Thomas and her sister Margaret McKeever. Kathryn “Kris” Sheeler, nee Selmer, of Franklin Lakes, formerly of Wayne, died June 12. She was 53. She was an accountant with the Richard J. Sheeler Co. in Hawthorne. She is survived by her husband Richard J. Sheeler of Franklin Lakes, her children Peter, Jeffrey, and Adrienne Sheeler, all of Franklin Lakes, her mother Kathryn Lande Selmer Brown of Staten Island, New York, and her brother Neil Selmer of Staten Island, New York. She was a member of the Upper Saddle River Volunteer Ambulance Corps since 1974, where she served in many positions including president and captain. She remained a member of the squad until her death. She was an EMT coordinator and taught hundreds of students at the Bergen County Law & Public Safety Institute. She was also a New Jersey State emergency medical technician evaluator. She is survived by her children Philip H. White of Englewood and Lisa Gooden of the Township of Washington and Harrisonburg, Virginia, two grandchildren, and her brother David Serls of North Palm Beach, Florida. Softball association seeks officers Midland Park Softball will hold open meetings the second Wednesday of the month in July and August. The group will meet at the Barn on Dairy Street at 7 p.m. On Sept. 12, elections for the positions of vice president and treasurer will be held. Library board meeting scheduled The board of trustees of the Midland Park Memorial Library will meet on Wednesday, June 20 at 7:30 p.m. The meeting will be held in the library located at 250 Godwin Avenue in Midland Park. Meetings are open to the public. Studio offers pottery classes Registration is under way for summer classes at the Wortendyke Pottery Studio, located in the historic railroad station in Midland Park.
