Diana Germano engaged
Jane and Mike Germano of Sparta have announced the engagement of their daughter, Diana Germano, to Dr. Jacob Reinkraut, son of Dr. Jeffery and Ellen Reinkraut of Franklin Lakes. The bride-to-be graduated from Sparta High School in 2002, and attended Bloomsburg University and Fordham University, where she earned her master’s in clinical social work. She is director of behavioral services for a non-profit foundation in Rochelle Park. Her fiancé graduated from Ramapo High School in 1998 and attended Muhlenberg College. He earned his medical degree at New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He is in private practice
as a surgical podiatrist in Ridgewood. A summer 2013 wedding is planned.
Lanes celebrate 50 years
Jessica Fraser Glass, daughter of Jan Blandamer Glass and Alastair Malcolm Glass of Rumson, married Christopher Scarpelli, son of Kathleen and Joseph Scarpelli of Wyckoff on Oct. 22, 2011 at Hamilton Farm in Bedminster. The bride was attended by maid of honor Fiona Layton and bridesmaids Bridget Haibach, Corrine Glass, Ruth Joseph, and Maggie Scarpelli. The groom’s brother, Joseph Scarpelli, was best man. Rob Glass, Steven Sclafani, Mike Salvatore, Gianfranco Trippichio, and David Litt served as groomsmen. The bride attended Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School, and earned a bachelor’s degree from Lehigh University in 2003. She is currently a client relationship manager with Deutsche Bank. Susan and Richard Lane of Wyckoff recently celebrated their 50th Anniversary.
The two met in Manhattan and were married at the Hampshire House on Dec. 20, 1961. Richard is a retired real estate developer. Susan has volunteered at the Daughters of Miriam Home for the Elderly in Clifton, the Wyckoff Ambulance Corps, Meals on Wheels, and Rolling Readers in Paterson and Newark. She is a court mediator, and volunteers at Oasis in Paterson with its GED program. The Lanes are the parents of Elizabeth Zweighaft of Ramsey, Michael Lane and wife Christine of Charlottesville, Virginia, and Sarah Sproha and husband Jeffery of Wyckoff. The Lanes’ grandchildren are Molly, Matthew, Annika, Amanda, Stella, Dylan and Tara.
