Katrin L. Ramsey, PT, DSc, director of Ivy Physical Therapy of Franklin Lakes, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jennifer K. Soares, PT, DPT, CHT as assistant director of the clinic. Dr. Soares began her career at Franklin Lakes Physical Therapy and went onto earn her doctor of physical therapy from Boston University and a certificate in advanced practice of upper extremity and hand physical therapy from Drexel University. Dr. Soares has also earned the distinction of a Certified Hand Therapist from the Hand Therapy Certification Commission. After spending the past two years as the Manager of Rehabilitation Services at Chilton Hospital, she will now return to collaborate with Dr. Ramsey and her group of experienced clinicians.

ASB marks 100th download
Soares is excited to bring her enthusiasm for her profession to the successful Ivy Franklin Lakes practice. Some specialty areas of treatment offered at this facility include orthopedic and sports physical therapy, geriatric rehabilitation, pediatric rehabilitation (including treatment of post concussive syndrome), rehabilitation for the breast cancer survivor, and treatment of infant torticollis. Soares will adjunct these services with the development of a specialized hand therapy program. “It is wonderful to welcome Jen back,” Ramsey said of Soares. “She is an amazing clinician (who) will continue to elevate our superior standards of care. The community will benefit from her talent and dedication.”

On Dec. 7, Atlantic Stewardship Bank celebrated 1,000 downloads of the ASB Mobile App. Each branch participated in the celebration by serving “APP”le pie to customers in the lobby. At the Midland Park branch, ASB customer Robert Torres was recognized for being the 1,000 customer to download the ASB Mobile App. Torres received a $100 gift certificate to the Apple Store along with an apple pie. Torres commented that he downloaded the APP a day or two before Hurricane Sandy and was able to use it during the
storm to access his ASB accounts. “The ASB App is awesome and easy to use,” Torres said. The ASB Mobile App allows customers to access their ASB deposit accounts with one touch from their iPhone, iPad or Android Smartphone any time, day or night from virtually any location.
