Dr. Philip Schwartz opened his general dental practice in Midland Park in 1979. He moved into the 100-year-old Victorian house at 339 Godwin Avenue 20 years ago and named his practice “Godwin Dental.” After completely renovating the interior into the modern dental offices that are there today, he worked closely with a sculptor to create the large white tooth that stands proudly on the front lawn. “Dentistry has changed dramatically over the last 20 years. However, our dedication to our patients’ dental health has remained the same,” says Dr. Schwartz. “Our patients’ needs are always respected, and they are always treated as welcomed guests by our caring professional staff. We discuss all possible dental solutions with our patients to achieve the best possible results.” Dr. Schwartz and his staff, Dr. PopjesEgedy, known affectionately by her patients as Dr. Marcia, and hygienist Kim Creegan attend various ADA certified courses annually to ensure that they are providing their patients with the latest dental techniques and technology, including digital X-rays, cancer screening, advancements in cosmetic materials, and chair side monitoring.
