or the past 43 years, Veterinarian James L. Hill of Midland Park Veterinary Hospital has been providing medical, dental, surgery and radiology services for dogs, cats and other small domesticated pets. He says he is extremely appreciative to his clients for the opportunity to meet them and serve their needs in that time. As the economic recession eases, pet owners who may have been putting off tending to their pets’ medical needs should resume regular visits to their vet to avoid future complications, says Dr.Hill. He stresses that internet searches or vitamin shop visits are no substitute for the professional care from a licensed veterinarian. “Selfdiagnosis can be extremely dangerous in the long run,” Dr. Hill points out. Dr. Hill stresses preventive medicine through education and immunization. He urges pet owners to check their pets’ vaccination records and update them with the confidence that today’s vaccines are extremely safe. Lyme Disease is particularly rampant, he added. Dr. James L.
