Page 4 THE VILLADOM TIMES IV • September 28, 2011 Area West Bergen announces fall fundraising effort Members of the Friends of West Bergen Mental Healthcare recently gathered to launch the non-profit agency’s cash prize contest. Five hundred tickets are expected to be sold at $50 per ticket. First prize is 25 percent of proceeds; second prize is 15 percent; and third prize is 10 percent. The winners will be announced at “A Fall Night of Fine Dining,” which is set for Monday, Nov. 7, at the Indian Trail Club in Franklin Lakes. Ticket holders need not be present to win. All funds raised from the cash prize contest will benefit the programs and services of West Bergen, including the Center for Children and Youth in Ramsey. The center provides counseling, therapy, and addiction treatment services for young people, ages two through 18, and their parents. West Bergen Mental Bergen County Superintendent of Elections Patricia DiCostanzo has issued a notice that Tuesday, Oct. 18 is the last day for residents to register to vote for the Nov. 8, 2011 general election in the State of New Jersey. In order to be eligible to vote, a person must be an American citizen, be a minimum of 18 years of age on or before Nov. 8, 2011, Deadline for general election is approaching and be a resident of New Jersey and Bergen County by Oct. 18, 2011. Bergen County residents may register to vote at the Office of the Superintendent of Elections, One Bergen County Plaza, Room 380, in Hackensack.
