New Jersey State Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Thomas Bracken will speak on Wednesday, Nov. 2 from noon to 2 p.m. at the River Palm Terrace, 209 Ramapo Valley Road in Mahwah. During this Networking Luncheon, Bracken will address the current state of the New Jersey business community with updates on emerging developments that will help the business environment. The event is being sponsored by the Mahwah Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Mahwah Suburban News. Chamber members who attend the luncheon are encouraged to bring promotional literature to share with others at the event’s media table. The cost is $35 for Chamber members and $50 for non-members. The Chamber will hold a Business Card Exchange for Chamber members and nonmembers on Wednesday, Nov. 16 from 6 to 8 p.m. This event, which is being hosted by The Haggerty Group, will be held at 1200 MacArthur Blvd in Mahwah. The event will feature light refreshments and plenty of local business people with whom to network. The Haggerty Group is an accounting and financial planning company located in Ridgewood. The cost is $15 for Chamber members and $30 for non-members. Prepaid registration is required; an additional $5 processing fee will be charged if paid the day of event. On Friday, Nov. 18, the Chamber will be participating in the Inter Chamber Consortium’s Holiday Boutique and Networking Luncheon. This event will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Fiesta, 255 Route 17 South, in Wood Ridge. “You can really start your holiday shopping season off on the right foot with some business networking at the Holiday Boutique and ICC Luncheon. Eight ICC Chambers will be attending, along with some of the region’s finest retailers with one-of-akind products and services, to help make your gifts the best of the season,” said MRCC President Susan Lord. The event includes a buffet lunch and cash bar. Advance registration is required. The cost is $35 for Chamber members and $40 for non-members. A free Meet & Greet networking event for Chamber members and non-members has been scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 30 from 8 to 10 a.m. The event is being hosted by TD Bank, MRCC’s 2011 Corporate Sponsor, at The Atrium, 535 East Crescent Avenue, Ramsey. Learn what’s new with the Chamber, and meet area business people you may not have known before. All attendees will be given an opportunity to introduce themselves to the entire group and explain a little about themselves and their businesses. Refreshments will be served. Registration is requested, but not required. Walk-ins are welcome. There is no fee for this event.
