Over 90 percent of all Division 1 college lacrosse programs attend Jake Reed’s NIKE Blue Chip Lacrosse and more than 95 percent of the seniors who receive the highly coveted invitation from Jake Reed, go on to play Division 1
college lacrosse. Matt and Chris Kownacki are students at Mahwah High School. Matt, who was named to the ESPN On-The-Rise Watch List, a roster of the elite players in the country, plays midfield. Chris, who has already attracted the attention of the University of North Carolina Tar Heels, plays attack. Both play for the Long Island Express Select Lacrosse Club, one of the top rated lacrosse teams in North America. Candidates for selection to Jake Reed’s NIKE Blue Chip Lacrosse are required to pass a strict referral process including a series of recommendations from a cast of wellrespected, high profile scholastic and college coaches.
