Rabolli suggested that Donigian review his claim that the vehicles are not being serviced on a daily basis with Montroy so that his future recommendations in this matter could be guided by that information, and the board carried the hearing to Nov. 1. It is expected, however, that Montroy will ultimately decide to send the case to the planning board, where that board will consider a tenant application by the operator of the Lukoil station. If that happens, Del Vecchio said he would withdraw his client’s application from the zoning board.

Ward Donigian, a Stephens Lane resident and objector to the parking of the Flyte Tyme vehicles on the Lukoil site, questioned whether the Flyte Tyme vehicles are being serviced at that site. Montroy said his understanding is that the vehicles are being serviced there on a daily basis, although he did not have proof. Ramsey
Karin Van Dyke (now Jones) formerly of Ramsey came in first in her age group at the inaugural Tri-Rock Triathlon that recently took place in Harriman State Park. The race consisted of a half-mile swim in Lake Sabego, a 15-mile bike course on the hills at Harriman, and a 3.2-mile trail run. Karin came in first in her age group, 45-49, and was also Master Champion (first in females 40 and over). Her sister Julie, niece Jessica, daughter Annika and mother Betsy were there to cheer her to victory. This triathlete also qualified for the 5150 National Championship Triathlon that took place in Des Moines, Iowa in September. This race was an Olympic distance, 0.9- mile swim, 24-mile bike ride, and 10K run. She came in fifth in her age group and got to share in prize money. She also planned to participate in the Augusta, Georgia HalfIronman (1.2-mile swim, 56-mile bike, 13-mile run). Karin lives with her family in Odessa, FL. She visits her parents, Betsy and Bill Van Dyke, sister Julie and family, brother Bill and family in Ramsey every summer with her two children.
