He attended Camp No-Be-Bo-Sco for five summers, which included leadership responsibilities as senior patrol leader. He participated in weekend camping and summer High Adventure Trips, and enjoyed hiking, biking, canoeing, and backpack camping. Most memorable were hiking Mount Washington, biking around Cape Cod, canoeing and camping at Lake Sebago and Acadia National Park in Maine, and camping on the beach in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. For his Eagle Project, he constructed two pavilions for sun and weather protection of the senior citizen bocce courts near the Ramsey Pool. He took this opportunity to design and build a permanent project for the use of the community. After months of planning and designing, he oversaw the construction and completion of two wooden 10’ by 12’ pavilions. These structures maximize the use of the bocce courts by Ramsey residents. He is known for his leadership skills and for his ability to follow through until his goal has been accomplished. Eagle Scouts Keosayian thanked Scoutmasters André Floyd and Mike McKiever for their leadership and guidance and all of the adult leaders who have helped him along his Scouting trail. He plans to help other Scouts in the future. Michael McMahon McMahon began his Scouting career in 1999 when he became a Tiger Cub in Ramsey Pack 175. While progressing through the ranks, he earned his Scouting religious emblem. In 2004, he received the Arrow of Light and bridged over to Boy Scout Troop 31. While McMahon participated in many trips and activities, it was camping that captured his interest. He became a counselor-in-training and then a staff counselor at Camp Yaw Paw for Cub Scout Summer Camp. His Eagle Project involved the construction of eight trail system map kiosks that were placed along the Camp Glen Gray trail system. Working in conjunction with Camp Glen Gray in Mahwah and the New York/New Jersey Trail Conference, McMahon designed, built, and placed the kiosks with laminated Ramapo Mountain Trail System maps on them at key locations. McMahon rounded out his Scouting service to his community by being involved in other institutions and organizations in town. As a member of Saint John’s Episcopal Church’s Youth Group, he has volunteered at local food shelters and soup kitchens. Currently, he is an emergency medical technician on the Ramsey Rescue Squad and is involved with the Ramsey Office of Emergency Management. After graduation from Ramsey High School in June, he plans to pursue a degree in political science and public administration. He thanked everyone who helped encourage and guide him along his trail to Eagle, including his fellow Scouts, Cub Scout and Boy Scout leaders, and the countless of volunteers who support Scouting. He plans to continue to work with Troop 31 to support other Scouts and promote the principles of Scouting. Nathanael Troyer Troyer joined Ramsey Cub Scout Pack 175 in 1998.
