Hoagies will be delivered on Saturday, April 16. Proceeds from the sale help the band and guard travel to competitions where they promote Ramsey as one of the finest high school bands in the tri-state area. Donations are always welcome. Club seeks new members The Woman’s Club of Ramsey will host an Open House for prospective members on April 7 at 7:30 p.m. at the home of Tanis LaManna, 39 DeBaun Avenue. Register for football & cheerleading Registration is now open for the Ramsey Junior Football Association’s 2011 season. Club sets Spring Fling Shopping Spree The Junior Woman’s Club of Ramsey will host a Spring Fling Shopping Spree to benefit the Ramsey schools on Thursday, March 24 from 7 to 11 p.m. at the Ramsey Golf & Country Club. The event will feature over 25 vendors and prizes that include “School Baskets,” items from the vendors, and a cash prize. Admission is $10. Resident needs organ transplant Ramsey Responds is helping to publicize the need for an organ donor for a borough resident who is in need of a kidney transplant. The organization provides food, clothing, household items, and financial assistance to help pay medical, rent, temporary housing, and utility bills. Ramsey Responds works closely with the police, fire, ambulance, and rescue services, and civic organizations and churches in town.
