More than 35 members of the Ramsey Leisure Club attended a library tour given by Ramsey Library Director Wendy Bloom. Bloom gave an informative presentation regarding the purpose of the recent library renovation, noting the updates needed since the library was built in 1968. All the latest technology has been added, and the re-design of the space has been maximized to accommodate all designated areas, which include a children and teen area, a quiet reading room, and a newly designed public meeting room that can be divided for multiple uses as needed, with audio-visual systems and Internet access. The club members enjoyed hearing about the improvements and thank Bloom for the personal tour she provided. The Leisure Club meets the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at the Lutheran Church on Wyckoff Avenue at 11 a.m. All residents over the age of 55 are invited to attend. Club events take place each season and include day tours, overnight trips, guest speakers, and movies. Club visits renovated library
